Pilgrims of Hope

On December 24th Pope Francis walked through the door opened at St. Peter’s Basilica, ushering in the Jubilee Year 2025, the theme of which is Pilgrims of Hope.

Pilgrims of Hope are precisely what the riders and support staff shall be when we cycle across the USA from Brunswick, Maine, to Santa Monica, California. Our hope, of course, is to revitalize the infrastructure of Belize Catholic Grade Schools and initiate feeding programs for our many hungry students. I find it a true grace that the Church inspired year coincides so perfectly with the Lighthouse Ride. All those who are planning The Ride, all those participating in The Ride, all those supporting The Ride, let all of their effort and contribution be accomplished in the hope of Christ, the hope that does not disappoint.
