This year, the dry season has been so hot and so dry, I had to beg for water tanks to be installed in four of our village schools.
When the tanks are installed the Water Board tanker truck comes along and fills them up. Once the rains come, the village will be able to pump water into them to use next year.
Many villagers are having to bathe in stagnant creek water. Now, at least our school children will have drinking water and water for their bathrooms.
