Trying to raise five million dollars is a well-nigh impossible task. But we need not fear. Our Faith teaches us that our God is Lord of the impossible. Mary the Mother of Jesus knows firsthand that God accomplishes the impossible. The Madonna del Ghisallo is the Patron Saint of Bicyclists, so how perfectly natural that we chose the Madonna del Ghisallo as our Patron for this seemingly impossible effort. We must work hard…but we need to pray as well. And so I have written this little prayer to help keep us focused on the task before us and the need for divine intercession if we are to accomplish this goal.

The Lighthouse Ride Prayer Almighty God, Lord of the Impossible, please grant, through the intercession of the Madonna del Ghisallo, success to the Lighthouse Ride, that the children of Belize may be more wonderfully served through our Catholic Primary Schools. Please bestow your wisdom and your grace upon all involved in this loving labor. ✞ AMEN ✞
